Horizon Projector is a complete plugin for nautical and geodetic calculations in QGIS.

About

Key features: 1) Distance to horizon calculation based on observer height, 2) Maximum distance calculation for object viewing, 3) Geodetic projection via magnetic azimuth and distance with declination correction, 4) Creation of distance rings in nautical miles with color gradient, 5) Export to GPX, KML, Shapefile, and GeoJSON. Ideal for maritime navigation, route planning, visibility studies, search and rescue, and geodetic applications. All calculations consider the curvature of the Earth using precise geodetic formulas.
