The DOP Germany plugin provides streamlined access to official German digital orthophotos (Digitale Orthophotos - DOP20). The underlying raster data originates from the State Surveying and Geoinformation Authorities of the German Federal States (Vermessungsverwaltungen der Bundesländer), compiled and provided nationwide as an OGC-compliant WMS service by the Federal Agency for Cartography and Geodesy (BKG) via the Geodatenzentrum at https://sg.geodatenzentrum.de/wms_dop. Each image features a high-resolution 20 cm ground resolution (1 pixel = 20 cm x 20 cm).
