QCT GIS2DXF Exporter QGIS 4 compatibility
Not QGIS 4 ready Active
Not yet — the latest version declares max QGIS version 3.99.0, so it is not offered to QGIS 4 users.
QGIS to AutoCAD DXF export: vectors and rasters in one drawing. Orthophotos and hillshades attach as georeferenced image xrefs, clipped to a rectangle or polygon. Points as blocks with attributes, Z elevation, symbology colours and lineweights. QCivilTools suite.
About
Part of the QCivilTools (QCT) suite. Exports any mix of vector and raster layers to an AutoCAD R2000 (AC1015) DXF, clipped to a crop box drawn on the map canvas, taken from the canvas or layer extent, typed in, or defined by a drawn polygon or a selected polygon feature. Vectors become LWPOLYLINE, 3D POLYLINE, POINT, TEXT and HATCH entities with symbology colour, lineweight and linetype carried across, and optional Z from geometry or an attribute field. Point layers can instead be inserted as blocks carrying every field as an attribute, ready for ATTEXT or Data Extraction in CAD. Rasters are written as sidecar PNG, JPEG or GeoTIFF files and attached to the DXF as IMAGE xrefs (IMAGEDEF, IMAGEDEF_REACTOR and ACAD_IMAGE_DICT), so they open georeferenced and in place in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and BricsCAD, complete with a polygonal clip boundary. Styled rendering reproduces the QGIS symbology of DEMs, hillshades and pseudocolour rasters, and a colorize mode matching the QGIS Hue/Saturation renderer can produce greyscale or black and white backdrops, optionally attached alongside the colour version. No third-party Python packages are required.
