TopoTidy QGIS 4 compatibility

Not QGIS 4 ready Active

Not yet — the latest version declares max QGIS version 3.99.0, so it is not offered to QGIS 4 users.

Turn messy vector data into clean topology in QGIS: cleanup tools (snap, trim, extend, split, dissolve, fix geometry, simplify, remove duplicate/disconnected lines) and topology-rule checks, driven from one dockable panel that names the tool to fix each error — and every fixer can edit your layer in place.

About

𝐌𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐲 𝐯𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐢𝐧, 𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐨𝐮𝐭 — 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐐𝐆𝐈𝐒. 𝐓𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐓𝐢𝐝𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐬. (1) 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐥. Add your layers, tick the rules they must obey — no dangles, no overlaps, no gaps, no pseudo-nodes, must be single-part, must sit inside or along another layer, and more — set a tolerance, and hit Validate. A dockable report shows exactly what is wrong and, for every kind of error, names and opens the tool that repairs it. Click any error to zoom straight to it on the map; accept the legitimate ones (a cul-de-sac, a bridge over a river) as exceptions that stick across re-runs; then re-validate and watch the counts fall to zero. A manual-editing toolbar (vertex, split, trim/extend, snapping) is right there for the fixes only you can decide. (2) 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐛𝐨𝐱. Every fix is also a standalone algorithm you can run, batch, or drop into a model: Snap Network Endpoints, Trim, Extend, Find Dangling Endpoints, Remove Duplicate Lines, Remove Disconnected Network Lines, Split with Lines, Multipart to Singleparts, Dissolve, Fix Geometry and Simplify. Each one can write a brand-new fixed layer or edit the input layer in place. Built for roads, rivers, parcels and utility networks. Runs in QGIS 3.16 through QGIS 4.0 (Qt6).
