Chak Star Alignment QGIS 4 compatibility

Not QGIS 4 ready Active

Not yet — the latest version declares max QGIS version 3.99.0, so it is not offered to QGIS 4 users.

Draws chak outlet to sub-chak alignments as a star or a branched tree network, with noded segments, hierarchy, chainage, area/discharge served and DEM-based elevation checks.

About

Adds the Processing algorithm "Star / Tree Alignment - Chak Outlet to Sub-Chaks" (group "Chak Design") plus a toolbar dialog. Outlets and sub-chaks are matched to their chak by location - no shared ID field needed. Star mode draws the shortest spoke from the outlet to each sub-chak; Tree mode builds a branched network where each sub-chak tees off the nearest point of the pipe already laid, trying several layouts per chak and keeping the shortest (never longer than the star). Lines end an inset distance inside each sub-chak, at its highest DEM point, or at its centre. Output segments are split at every tee and carry segment/parent IDs, main/branch hierarchy, chainage, sub-chaks and area served downstream, optional design discharge, and DEM elevations, fall, slope and uphill/ridge flags. Optional node and per-chak summary layers. Inputs in different CRSs are reprojected on the fly; the chak layer must be in a projected CRS (metres).
