QGIS 4 ready Active
Yes — Spectre Viewer supports QGIS 4 (declared max version 4.99.0).
View spectra stored in a geodataset.
About
The plugin is for plotting georeferenced spectral data, e.g. from carborne or aerial gamma surveys. The spectre must be stored in an array, either as a postgres array datafield or as a comma separated string with an integer for each channel. In the plugin, select the the data set and in which field the spectra are stored. When features in the dataset are selected, the integrated spectra over these features will be displayed. Click in spectra to read values. Use arrow keys to move, esc to remove the reader line. Spectre values can be copied and pasted as a comma separated string of integers. The spectra can be saved as an image. <b>Peak detection</b> The plugin will detect peaks in the spectrum. A linear calibration can be set up from channel numbers to energy. The peaks will be listed and each peak can be assigned a value calculate a new calibration. Check "use" to apply the calculated calibration. If a peak corresponds to a known nuclide, the nuclide will be indicated. (The nuclide information is stored in gammas.yml in the plugin directory, any updates to this file will be overwritten when the plugin is updated) <b>Other plugins</b> There are three other plugins that are made to be used together with this plugin: * Spectral data loader: Reads in .spe files or an ascii file exported from RSI software and stores the data in a suitable format for the spectre viewer. It should not be too hard to extend this for other text based spectral formats. Contact the author if that should be needed. * Stripchartdrawer: Draws a strip chart of one of the numeric values from a data set. Makes it possible to select e.g. points with high dose rates * Altitudeconverter: To estimate the parameters to calculate ground bases values from airborne gamma surveys.
