BeachBall QGIS 4 compatibility
QGIS 4 ready Active
Yes — BeachBall supports QGIS 4 (declared max version 4.99.0).
This plugin creates beachball to represent focal mechanisms from strike, dip, and rake.
About
This plugin read the strike, dip, and rake information and build the corresponding beachball for representing the focal mechanisms. Obspy module is used for producing the SVGs. Images are coloured according to the kinematics, following the classification of Zoback (1992). Colors can be changed from the UI. The plugin also add P-T-B attitudes and SHmax azimuth in the attribute table. Percentage of DC, CLVD, ISO can be added as fields for the representation.
