Questo plugin è stato realizzato dal Cap. Niccolò Marco Mancini e dal Ten. Col. Cristiano Berretta del Gruppo di Cartografia Numerica del RGPBIO.

Universal Earth Observation non e' un semplice downloader di immagini satellitari: e' un motore di ricerca unificato che, a partire da un'area di interesse, interroga i cataloghi e i servizi supportati e restituisce un inventario normalizzato dei dati disponibili, con deduplicazione, punteggio di qualita', accesso remoto quando possibile, catalogazione locale e strumenti di analisi. Integra otto fonti: Copernicus Data Space, NASA (CMR, GES DISC, NSIDC, FIRMS), USGS Landsat, Microsoft Planetary Computer e AWS Open Data. La ricerca e' anonima su tutte; le credenziali, quando servono, sono conservate nel gestore cifrato di QGIS. Realizzato dal Cap. Niccolo' Marco Mancini e dal Ten. Col. Cristiano Berretta del Gruppo di Cartografia Numerica del RGPBIO.
