Table Structure Compare QGIS 4 compatibility

Not QGIS 4 ready Quiet

Not yet — the latest version declares max QGIS version 3.99.0, so it is not offered to QGIS 4 users.

Compares the attribute table structures of two vector layers in QGIS, highlighting differences in field names, types, and lengths, with results shown as a temporary layer or a confirmation popup if identical

About

The Table Structure Compare plugin enables QGIS users to analyze and compare the attribute table structures of two vector layers. Users select a base layer (template) and a layer to compare, and the plugin evaluates differences in field names (case-sensitive and case-insensitive), data types, and field lengths. If the structures are identical, a popup message confirms the match. If differences exist, the plugin generates a temporary memory layer detailing each discrepancy, including missing fields, type mismatches, case-sensitive name differences, and length variations. The output layer is automatically added to the QGIS project, with its attribute table displayed for easy review. Ideal for data validation and ensuring consistency in vector layer schemas, this plugin streamlines the process of identifying structural variations in attribute tables.
