Spot Level & Contour Extractor Tool QGIS 4 compatibility

QGIS 4 ready Active

Yes — Spot Level & Contour Extractor Tool supports QGIS 4 (declared max version 4.99.0).

Extract regularly-gridded spot levels and elevation contour lines from a DSM/DTM raster, in any coordinate system.

About

Two Processing algorithms for drone/photogrammetry survey workflows: (1) Spot Levels - samples elevation at a regular grid interval (1m, 2m, 3m, or any custom spacing) and exports points as CSV, Shapefile, and/or KML; (2) Contours - generates elevation contour lines at a chosen interval and exports them as Shapefile, DXF, DWG, and/or KML. Both accept a raster in any coordinate system: a raster in a geographic CRS (plain latitude/longitude degrees) is automatically reprojected in memory to the correct UTM zone first, so interval/spacing values are always true metres on the ground. Requires a handful of third-party Python packages (rasterio, geopandas, scipy, contourpy, ezdxf, pyogrio) to be installed into QGIS's own Python environment - see the plugin's README for the one-time setup command.
