Query and map the microdata of Bolivia's population censuses (1976-2024) directly in QGIS
About
Access the Bolivian census microdata published by the censosbo project. Pick a census year and table, aggregate any variable by department or municipality (count, mean, median, sum, standard deviation, mode, or the share of a category), review a summary of the result and get a styled choropleth layer. Data is queried remotely with DuckDB, so the large Parquet files are never downloaded. Also covers the finest level of the 2024 census: 268,604 urban blocks and rural communities with the 194 indicators of the INE summary sheet (245 options, counting those that add up both sexes). Includes two Processing algorithms for graphical models and batch runs. Interface and documentation are in Spanish.
