India Boundary & CRS Toolkit QGIS 4 compatibility

Not QGIS 4 ready Active

Not yet — the latest version declares max QGIS version 3.99.0, so it is not offered to QGIS 4 users.

Load a maintained India admin boundary layer with correct state/district IDs, plus Processing tools for fixing mis-declared/awkward source CRS (e.g. Lambert Conformal Conic district files) and for spatial-joining points or small polygons to admin boundaries with a nearest-neighbour fallback for slivers/edge cases.

About

Grew out of recurring pain points rebuilding India district pipelines: LCC-projected source data with unreliable CRS metadata, and small/edge districts that fall through a strict point-in-polygon join. Ships two Processing algorithms (Reproject / Fix Source CRS, Assign Admin IDs by Boundary) and a toolbar action to load a configured boundary GeoPackage (state + district, with an ID override table so splits like Ladakh/J&K are handled consistently) into the project.
