About
GeoSector Photo Map is a QGIS plugin for managing and correcting geotagged JPEG field photos. It displays photos as a live point layer in QGIS and provides a dedicated Photo Map window for reviewing images, folders and GPS positions. Photos can be moved in either QGIS or GeoSector, with pending GPS changes synchronized between both views before being written back to JPEG EXIF. GPS writes create a backup and verify the stored coordinates. GeoSector also provides photo preview, folder filtering, duplicate detection, spatial selection and GeoPackage export. The plugin runs entirely in the QGIS Python environment and does not require an external Python installation, Pillow or piexif.
