QMetadaLayer HISPANIA es la versión en español del complemento que permite visualizar, agregar, modificar y manipular, así como cargar, guardar, abrir, editar desde y en un archivo los metadatos asociados a una capa en QGIS, tanto vectoriales como raster a través de una interfaz sencilla y dinámica que facilita la visualización de cualquier capa, así como añadir información de una manera más rápida y confiable bajo estándares internacionales (ISO, INSPIRE) ayudando a mantener la uniformidad de los datos. EL complemento, además cuenta con sugerencia en ítems claves, en algunos casos con información de países hispanoamericanos y España.
